The room was fine. Breakfast was good. It was a little too easy to hear other guests in the hallways and adjoining rooms. I'm glad we did not have much luggage to carry up the stairs.
Very nice place. Upscale so it is pricy. The staff were pleasant. The room was nice. The grounds were large with multiple buildings. No continental breakfast, that was an extra charge. Very nice gym and indoor pool. Basically, a high end place that charges extra for eveything.
The rooms are spacious and upgraded. The grounds are beautiful and make you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle, when in actuality, you are only minutes away. Unfortunately, my rating has decreased from a 4 during my visit last year to a 3. The customer service of the front desk staff was just average. For example, when i asked the front desk staff for non-dairy creamer for my coffee from the coffee station in the lobby, they just responded that they don't have any available and were sorry. Mind you, our room was stocked with non-dairy creamer so the front desk staff could have arranged with Housekeeping to have some available. The coffee station was also out of tea and sugar. After the front desk staff's response to the creamer, i dare not ask about these items. Last, before arriving, the front desk staff informed me that the rooms were not equipped with microwaves; however, that they could arrange for one to be placed in our room pending upon availability. Yet when we asked for one upon our arrival, we were informed by front desk staff that it is a fire hazard to have microwaves in the rooms. Either way, i wish we had been given a consistent message regarding the use of microwaves in rooms. To add, the walls are paper thin so you can actually hear conversations and other things occurring in surrounding rooms, and our mattress sunk in the middle.
Lovely staff. The waiters are worm welcome and polite great food too.. they are just one in a million. The temp waiters they are good. Jamaicans.
Large estate with an amazing view. Went there for a short corporate retreat. Food was good, staff was very friendly. Since it's a fairly large place you can get lost easily but the staff helped point the way.
